For over a century, Esperanto speakers across the United States have gathered annually for the Landaj Kongresoj (National Conventions), as well as for smaller, regional events. These conventions provide a unique space to connect, collaborate, and celebrate our shared love for Esperanto and its ideals.

National Congress
Every year Esperanto-USA organizes a national congress during the summer. The next one will be held in Sacramento, California, where our organization was founded 75 years ago.

NASK
NASK (North American Summer Course) is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself completely in an Esperanto environment. For one unforgettable week, participants will learn together, live together, eat together, and enjoy free time together — using only Esperanto. It’s an intensive, supportive, and joyful experience that helps participants make rapid progress and lasting friendships.
United States Youth Congress
E-USA’s youth section is organizing a new congress for Esperanto speakers under 35 years old.

Printempa Esperanto Renkontiĝo (PER)
The annual regional Spring Esperanto Gathering (PER) presents a rare opportunity for Esperantists to spend three days immersed in an all-Esperanto world. A practical, informative, and thought-provoking program with a variety of activities will provide opportunities to sharpen and strengthen speaking, listening, and conversational skills.

Aŭtuna Renkontiĝo de Esperanto (ARE)
ARE is one of the most popular autumn Esperanto events in the US. ARE will be held in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania – October 9-12 – at the Hidden Valley Camping Resort.
The program will be designed by the participants. Darts, golf, and other activities will be available on site, as well as bowling and axe throwing in the nearby town. More details can be found on the Eventa Servo page.
Northwestern Regional Esperanto Congress (NOREK)
For over 40 years, NOREK has brought together Esperanto speakers from across the Pacific Northwest and western Canada. In 2026, it takes place in Seattle, Washington during September 4-6.
Fire and Tide Beach Weekend
An informal, all-Esperanto gathering is held annually during the American Labor Day Weekend in Southern California with options for additional excursions before or after the main weekend.
The event aims to give Esperantists of all levels the opportunity to spend a few days together by the ocean, speaking Esperanto in a natural and friendly atmosphere. Participants enjoy beach activities, communal meals, board games, bonfires, and informal conversations, without a strict program or conference atmosphere.
