La Usona Bona Film-Festivalo | The American Good Film Festival

La Filmfestivalo de Esperanto-USA estas bunta celebrado de kreemo kaj la Esperanto-lingvo. Ĝi nutras artan esprimon kaj komunuman engaĝiĝon pere de filmo. Instiginte filmistojn de ĉiuj kapabloniveloj por krei originalajn filmojn en Esperanto, ĉi tiu programo elstarigas la unikecon de nia lingvo kaj montras ĝian uzon en moderna rakontado.

La festivalo ofertas monpremiojn juĝitaj de panelo de kvin ĵuranoj. Tio ĉi certigas, ke la festivalo agnoskas talenton kaj novigadon. Ni strebas esti inkluzivaj, kaj sen aliĝkotizo, la konkurso estas malferma al ĉiuj. Partoprenantoj devas krei filmojn ne pli longajn ol kvin minutojn, tute en Esperanto, kun almenaŭ dek unikaj parolitaj vortoj. Por subtenti originalecon, niaj gastigantoj anoncas specialan aĵon je la komenco de ĉiu festivalo, kiu devas aperi sur la ekrano. Ĉi tiu postulo certigas, ke ĉiuj submetitaj verkoj estas nove kreitaj specife por la konkurso.

Per ĉi tiu programo, Esperanto-USA ne nur festas la kreemon de la komunumo, sed ankaŭ fortigas la tutmondan esperanto-parolantan komunumon por inspiri novajn kaj spertajn filmistojn kaj por dividi iliajn voĉojn.

La Esperanto-Jutubisto Alex MILLER gastigis la unuajn kvin eldonojn de la Amerika Filmfestivalo ekde 2021. Catie NEILSON fariĝis la gastigantino en 2024 por nia sesa konkurso. Pli ol 175 Esperantaj mallongaj filmoj estis kreitaj kiel parto de ĉi tiu projekto, kaj oni povas spekti ĉiujn senpage kaj trovi anoncojn pri nia sekva konkurso en la oficiala Jutubo-kanalo de Esperanto-USA.

The Esperanto-USA Film Festival is a vibrant celebration of creativity and the Esperanto language, fostering artistic expression and community engagement. By encouraging filmmakers of all skill levels to create original works in Esperanto, this program highlights the language’s versatility and showcases its use in modern storytelling.

The festival features cash prizes awarded by a panel of five judges, ensuring that exceptional talent and innovation are recognized. With no entry fee, the competition is open to everyone, making it accessible and inclusive. Participants are challenged to produce films no longer than five minutes, entirely in Esperanto, with at least ten unique spoken words. To ensure originality, a special prop is announced at the start of each festival, which must appear on screen. This requirement guarantees that all submissions are newly created specifically for the contest.

Through this program, Esperanto-USA not only celebrates the community’s creativity but also strengthens the global Esperanto-speaking community by inspiring new and seasoned filmmakers alike to share their voices.

Esperanto YouTuber Alex MILLER hosted the first five iterations of The American Good Film Festival beginning in 2021. Catie NEILSON became the host in 2024 for our sixth competition. Over 175 Esperanto short films have been created as part of this project, and you can watch all of them for free and find announcements about our next competition on the official YouTube channel of Esperanto-USA.
